From the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, rebuilt at the entrance of the village in the 17th century century, we go up the main street, along simple houses and from small hidden gardens to the pottery factory. The clay was extracted near the village and in the nineteenth century, the whole village lived from this activity. launderersof land, carters, turners or oven patrons, the whole village lived from this activity. The pottery factory of Cliousclat, created in 1902 by Marius Anjaleras and relaunched in 1964 by Philippe Sourdive - who will renew the shapes, colors and decorations of this pottery in glazed earthenware - is today protected under the "Monuments historiques". This pottery is still active, it is possible to visit and look at the ancestral knowledge of passionate people who work there.A historical route allows to visit the village and discover the pottery.
